Ingredients: 

  • 1 TBSP - COCONUT OIL
  • 1 SMALL ONION (CHOPPED)
  • 1 TSP - CRUSHED GARLIC
  • 1 TSP - OREGANO
  • 1 TSP - DRIED BASIL
  • 8 SMALL BLANCHED TOMATOES  (WE LIKE THE SKIN ON)
  • 3 POTATOES (SMALL CUBED)
  • 2 TBSP - COCONUT SUGAR
  • 2 CUPS - WATER 
  • 1 TSP - SALT
  • 1 TSP - PEPPER
  • 1 CUP - NAKED PROTEIN POWDER

Method:

STEP 1: SAUTE THE ONIONS AND GARLIC IN COCONUT OIL.

STEP 2: ADD IN THE DRIED OREGANO AND BASIL AND SAUTE UNTIL FRAGRANT (30 SECONDS TO 1 MINUTE)

STEP 3: ADD THE BLANCHED TOMATOES AND POTATOES TO THE MIX, ADD THE COCONUT SUGAR AND 2 CUPS OF WATER

STEP 4: BRING IT TO A BOIL, AND THEN LET IT SIMMER UNTIL ALL THE INGREDIENTS HAVE GONE SOFT (CAN BE PIERCED EASILY WITH A FORK)

STEP 5: TRANSFER THE MIXTURE INTO A BLENDER AND BLEND THIS MIXTURE INTO A SMOOTH SOUP.

STEP 6: ADD IN ONE SCOOP OF PROTEIN POWDER ONCE THE SOUP IS BLENDED AND MIX A LITTLE FURTHER, ADD IN ½ A CUP OF WATER IF THE SOUP IS TOO THICK FOR YOUR LIKING.

STEP 6: SEASON THE SOUP WITH SOME SALT, PEPPER, OREGANO AND FRESH BASIL
